Company: F. Strickland & Company LLC d/b/a VoyagX (“VoyagX,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

This Privacy & Refund Policy explains how VoyagX collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information and describes the refund policies applicable to certain VoyagX products and services.

This Policy applies to registered users, guest users, and other individuals who access or use VoyagX.

Your use of VoyagX is also governed by the VoyagX Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, TripSplit Terms of Service where applicable, and any booking-specific terms presented before purchase.

PART I — PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information We Collect

VoyagX collects personal information reasonably necessary to operate our travel, booking, social, safety, payment, and customer-support services.

The information we collect depends on the VoyagX features you use.

1.1 Account and Profile Information

When you create a VoyagX account, we may collect:

  • Email address;

  • Username;

  • Name;

  • Password or authentication credentials;

  • Profile photograph;

Certain VoyagX functionality may be available without creating an account.

For example, guest users may be able to:

  • Browse hotels;

  • Browse Experiences;

  • View public trips;

  • View certain public Troupes;

  • View travel maps and other public content; and

  • Complete eligible hotel bookings.

When a guest completes a transaction or requests support, we may collect information necessary to complete or manage that transaction, including contact, traveler, booking, and transaction information.

Information you designate as public may be visible to registered users and, where applicable, individuals who do not have a VoyagX account.

You should avoid including sensitive personal information in public posts, public trips, maps, Troupes, or other publicly visible content.

Hotels and accommodation suppliers may independently process traveler information under their own privacy practices.

3. Experiences and Viator

Experiences displayed through VoyagX may be supplied through Viator and participating Experience Providers.

When you proceed with a standard Experience booking, the booking and payment transaction is completed through Viator or a Viator-controlled booking environment.

VoyagX may receive limited information regarding referral activity, transaction status, booking attribution, or other information made available through the applicable partnership.

Information that you provide directly to Viator is governed by Viator's applicable privacy policy and terms.

VoyagX does not directly process payment-card information for standard Viator Experience transactions.

TripSplit transactions involving Experiences are separately governed by the TripSplit Terms of Service.

Additional information regarding TripSplit is provided in the TripSplit Terms of Service.

5. Payment Information

VoyagX uses third-party payment processors and payment providers to process eligible payments.

Depending on the service and selected payment method, these providers may process:

  • Credit or debit card information;

  • Digital-wallet information;

  • Buy Now, Pay Later information;

  • Billing information; and

  • Other payment credentials.

VoyagX does not store full credit or debit card numbers, card security codes (CVV/CVC), or equivalent complete payment credentials on VoyagX systems when those credentials are handled by our authorized payment processors.

VoyagX may receive and retain limited payment-related information necessary to manage transactions, such as:

  • Transaction identifier;

  • Payment status;

  • Payment method type;

  • Limited card information such as card brand or last four digits where provided;

  • Payment amount;

  • Processing fee;

  • Refund status; and

  • Fraud or risk signals.

Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy and security terms.

6. Buy Now, Pay Later and Installment Services

VoyagX may provide access to third-party Buy Now, Pay Later (“BNPL”) or installment-payment providers for eligible transactions.

If you select one of these services, the applicable provider may collect information directly from you to determine eligibility, establish a payment arrangement, or process payments.

VoyagX may receive information necessary to complete and administer the applicable VoyagX transaction, including approval status, payment status, transaction identifiers, and refund information.

Financial information submitted directly to a BNPL Provider is also governed by that Provider's privacy policy.

7. Optional Identity Verification

VoyagX may provide or require identity-verification functionality for certain features.

Depending on the verification process, you may be asked to provide:

  • Legal name;

  • Date of birth;

VoyagX may use a specialized third-party verification provider to process identity-verification information.

Where a third-party verification provider is used, VoyagX may receive a verification result and other limited information necessary to administer the account or feature.

Identity-verification information is not used by VoyagX for advertising purposes.

  • Personalize geographically relevant content;

  • TripSplit information;

  • Messages sent to Support;

VoyagX does not sell or rent users' personal information for monetary consideration.

VoyagX also does not sell government-identification information, identity-verification materials, precise location information, or payment credentials.

If our practices change in a way that creates additional opt-out rights under applicable privacy law, we will provide the notices and controls required by that law.

This may include:

  • Public profile information;

VoyagX cannot control information after another individual lawfully obtains or shares information that you intentionally made public.

17. Data Retention

VoyagX retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

Retention periods may depend on:

  • Whether you maintain a VoyagX account;

VoyagX uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

  • Appropriate use of specialized payment and technology providers.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, and account credentials and should notify VoyagX promptly if they suspect unauthorized account access.

19. Children's Privacy

VoyagX is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

Individuals under 18 may not create or maintain a VoyagX account or independently use services requiring legal contractual consent.

If we learn that an individual under 18 has improperly created an account, VoyagX may take steps to restrict or delete the account and associated information as appropriate.

20. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • Confirm whether VoyagX processes your personal information;

VoyagX may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests in order to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion.

If applicable law provides a right to appeal a privacy-request decision, you may submit an appeal to the same email address and identify the request as a Privacy Appeal.

Certain information may be exempt from access or deletion requirements where retention or processing is permitted or required by law.

21. International Processing

VoyagX is operated by a United States company.

Personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where VoyagX's service providers or travel partners operate.

Where required by applicable law, VoyagX will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

22. Changes to the Privacy Policy

VoyagX may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material updates may be communicated through:

  • VoyagX;

  • Our website;

  • Email; or

  • Another reasonable method.

The “Last Updated” date will identify the most recent version.

Where legally required, VoyagX will obtain consent before applying materially different data-processing practices.

PART II — REFUND POLICY

23. General Refund Principles

Refund eligibility depends on the product or service purchased.

Different refund rules apply to:

  1. Hotel reservations;

  2. Standard Viator Experience bookings;

  3. TripSplit;

  4. VoyagX subscription plans; and

  5. Other services that may be offered by VoyagX.

Users should review all applicable cancellation and refund terms before completing a purchase.

24. Hotel Reservations

24.1 Cancellation Eligibility

Hotel cancellation and refund eligibility is determined by the specific cancellation policy associated with the hotel, room, and rate selected at the time of booking.

Cancellation policies may differ based on:

  • Hotel;

  • Property;

  • Room type;

  • Rate type;

  • Travel dates;

  • Supplier;

  • Promotional rate; and

  • Other booking conditions.

Some reservations may offer free cancellation until a specified deadline.

Other reservations may:

  • Be partially refundable;

  • Become subject to a cancellation penalty after a specified deadline; or

  • Be completely non-refundable.

The cancellation policy displayed during checkout forms part of the reservation terms.

Users are responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation deadline before completing the reservation.

24.2 How to Cancel a Hotel Reservation

Eligible hotel reservations may be canceled using the booking-management functionality available through VoyagX.

Users should access:

Manage My Bookings → Select the applicable reservation → Cancellation options

Available options may depend on the status and cancellation policy of the reservation.

Cancellation does not guarantee a refund if the reservation has passed its applicable cancellation deadline or is otherwise non-refundable.

24.3 Hotel Refund Amount

If a hotel reservation qualifies for a full refund under the cancellation policy applicable to that booking, VoyagX will refund the eligible refundable amount.

For an eligible full cancellation:

  • The eligible hotel reservation amount will be refunded;

  • The applicable VoyagX service fee will be refunded; and

  • Any applicable Payment Processing Fee will generally remain non-refundable.

Accordingly, an eligible customer may receive up to the refundable booking amount less any applicable non-refundable Payment Processing Fee.

Payment Processing Fees may vary depending on the payment method selected.

Payment Processing Fees will be refunded where required by applicable law or applicable payment-network or payment-provider rules, or where VoyagX determines that a refund is appropriate because of a qualifying VoyagX payment or platform error.

24.4 Partial Hotel Refunds

If the applicable hotel cancellation policy allows only a partial refund, the amount refunded will be determined according to the cancellation terms associated with that reservation.

Any applicable cancellation penalty or non-refundable amount will be deducted from the refund.

VoyagX cannot provide a greater refund than the amount permitted under the applicable reservation's cancellation terms except where required by law or otherwise expressly approved by VoyagX.

24.5 Non-Refundable Hotel Rates

Hotel reservations identified as non-refundable generally do not qualify for a refund after confirmation.

Exceptions may apply where required by law or where the applicable hotel, supplier, or VoyagX expressly approves an exception.

24.6 Hotel Modifications

Confirmed hotel reservations generally cannot be modified through VoyagX.

This includes requests to:

  • Add additional rooms;

  • Remove rooms;

  • Change dates;

  • Change room type;

  • Add or remove guests;

  • Change occupancy; or

  • Otherwise materially alter the confirmed reservation.

Where a change is required, the user may need to cancel the original reservation, subject to its cancellation policy, and create a new reservation.

VoyagX does not guarantee that the original property, room, rate, or price will remain available following cancellation.

24.7 Hotel Refund Timing

Once an eligible hotel refund has been approved and processed, VoyagX will initiate the applicable refund.

The time required for funds to appear depends on the customer's:

  • Bank;

  • Card issuer;

  • Payment processor;

  • Digital wallet;

  • BNPL Provider; or

  • Other payment method.

VoyagX does not control the posting or settlement time of external financial institutions.

25. Standard Experience Bookings Through Viator

Standard Experiences displayed through VoyagX are supplied through Viator and participating Experience Providers.

For standard Viator Experience bookings:

  • Payment is processed by Viator or its designated payment provider;

  • Cancellation eligibility is determined by the applicable Viator or Experience Provider policy;

  • Refund requests must be submitted through Viator using the cancellation or support methods provided by Viator; and

  • Post-booking amendments, where permitted, must also be handled through Viator.

VoyagX does not independently approve, process, or issue refunds for standard Viator Experience purchases.

VoyagX cannot override a Viator or Experience Provider cancellation policy.

Users seeking to cancel or modify a standard Experience booking should access Viator.com or the applicable Viator booking-management or support channel.

TripSplit Experience bookings are subject to the separate rules described below.

26. TripSplit Refunds

TripSplit has separate cancellation, refund, Contribution, Buffer, payment-processing-fee, funding-failure, and Provider-cancellation rules.

All TripSplit refund requests and refund eligibility are governed by the TripSplit Terms of Service.

Users participating in TripSplit should review the current TripSplit Terms of Service for complete information regarding:

  • Refund eligibility;

  • Full and partial refunds;

  • Provider approval requirements;

  • Contributor refund calculations;

  • Payment Processing Fees;

  • VoyagX service-fee refunds;

  • Provider cancellations;

  • Funding failures;

  • Buffer refunds; and

  • Refund processing.

If the TripSplit Terms of Service conflict with this general Refund Policy regarding a TripSplit transaction, the TripSplit Terms of Service control.

27. VoyagX Subscription Plans

VoyagX subscription plans are generally non-refundable once a subscription charge has been completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law or required or approved under the policies of the applicable app marketplace or payment provider.

Canceling a subscription stops future renewal according to the applicable subscription terms but does not ordinarily result in a refund for the current billing period.

Users generally retain access to applicable subscription benefits until the end of the period for which they have already paid, unless otherwise stated or required by the applicable marketplace.

For subscriptions purchased through:

Apple App Store

Subscription management, cancellation, and any eligible refund requests are subject to Apple's applicable App Store policies and procedures.

Google Play

Subscription management, cancellation, and any eligible refund requests are subject to Google Play's applicable policies and procedures.

VoyagX does not guarantee that Apple, Google, or another payment provider will approve a subscription refund.

Where a VoyagX subscription is purchased directly from VoyagX rather than through an app marketplace, the subscription is non-refundable after the applicable charge except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

28. Canceling a Subscription

Subscription cancellation and subscription refunds are different.

Canceling a subscription generally prevents future renewal but does not retroactively refund charges already incurred.

Deleting the VoyagX App or deleting a VoyagX account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Users should cancel subscriptions through the marketplace or billing method through which the subscription was originally purchased.

29. Technical Issues

An App error, temporary service outage, crash, or technical problem does not automatically entitle a user to a refund.

Users experiencing technical problems should contact VoyagX Support so that we may investigate the issue.

Where a technical problem results in an incorrect VoyagX hotel charge, duplicate payment, failed booking for which payment was collected, or another qualifying payment error, VoyagX will investigate and provide an appropriate correction or refund where applicable.

Nothing in this section limits refund rights required by applicable law.

30. Failed Hotel Bookings

Payment authorization or collection does not necessarily mean that a hotel reservation has been successfully confirmed.

If VoyagX collects or authorizes payment but the applicable hotel reservation cannot be completed, VoyagX will void, reverse, or refund the applicable payment as appropriate.

Where the booking failure results from a VoyagX or booking-system error and no reservation is confirmed, the customer will not be charged a VoyagX service fee for an unfulfilled booking.

Any temporary authorization hold may remain visible until released by the customer's financial institution.

31. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or more than once for a VoyagX hotel reservation or other VoyagX-processed transaction, contact:

support@voyagxapp.com

Please provide the relevant booking or transaction information.

VoyagX will investigate confirmed duplicate or incorrect charges and issue an appropriate correction or refund where applicable.

32. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Charges

If you believe a payment was unauthorized:

VoyagX Hotel or TripSplit Transaction

Contact VoyagX Support promptly and contact your financial institution where appropriate.

TripSplit-specific disputes remain subject to the TripSplit Terms of Service.

Standard Viator Experience

Contact Viator and your applicable financial institution.

Apple App Store Purchase

Use the applicable Apple support and account procedures.

Google Play Purchase

Use the applicable Google Play support and account procedures.

VoyagX may investigate suspected fraudulent activity and may restrict accounts or transactions where reasonably necessary to protect users and the Platform.

Nothing in this Policy limits legitimate consumer dispute or chargeback rights provided by applicable law.

33. Buy Now, Pay Later Refunds

If an eligible VoyagX transaction was paid using a BNPL or installment-payment provider, an approved refund may be processed through that provider.

VoyagX cannot directly modify:

  • Your financing agreement;

  • Remaining installment schedule;

  • Interest or financing charges;

  • Credit decisions; or

  • Other terms established by the BNPL Provider.

Users should continue following the BNPL Provider's payment instructions until that Provider confirms that the applicable refund or account adjustment has been completed.

The amount and timing of an eligible refund remain subject to the applicable VoyagX refund rules and the BNPL Provider's processing procedures.

34. Abuse of Refund and Payment Systems

VoyagX may investigate suspected abuse of its payment, cancellation, or refund systems.

This may include:

  • Fraudulent booking activity;

  • Unauthorized payment methods;

  • Knowingly false refund claims;

  • Duplicate refund attempts;

  • Fraudulent chargebacks; or

  • Other payment abuse.

Nothing in this section limits a user's legitimate right to dispute a transaction or exercise rights provided under applicable law.

35. Changes to the Refund Policy

VoyagX may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Changes will not retroactively eliminate refund rights already attached to a completed booking or transaction except where permitted by applicable law.

Material changes may be communicated through the App, website, email, or another reasonable method.

The current version will display its “Last Updated” date.
